VEG PULAV


Vegetable pulav

Ingredients

Basmati rice 2 cups.

Chopped vegetables 1 cup (carrot,Beans,peas)

Onion one thin sliced.

Green chillies 4-5

Chilli powder 1/4 tsp(optional)

Dhania powder 1/4 tsp(optional)

Cumin powder 1/4 tsp(optional).

Cloves 3

cardamom 2

cinnamon stick 2 inch

Anan flower 1

Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Bay leaves 3

GingerGarlic paste 1 1/2 tsp

Curd 1 tsp

Mint leaves 1 hand full.

Cilantro leaves one hand full.

salt to taste.

oil 3 Tsp



Method

Soak basmati rice for more than 15 min.

Now Cook vegetable in microwave for 3 min.

Keep heavy bottom vessel and add oil or ghee .when oil is heated add all whole garam masala and let it fry for  2 min.

Add sliced onion and sliced green chillies, fry till onion is light brown in color.

Now add Ginger Garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes.

Now add All powders and vegetable and mix well and then add curd ,fry this for 2 min.

Add mint leaves and cilantro leaves and mix well and fry for another 1 min .

Add rice to this mixture and reduce flame to medium low and cook for 2 min.
 don't stir heavy... rice will break.

Now add 4 cup of water to this and mix well Add salt to taste and check for salt.

Make this boil till water is reduced when u can see only rice.

Close vessel with lid and cook in sim or low heat for another 15 min.

If you want to cook in rice cooker then after Adding water you can transfer to rice cooker and switch on cooker.



Note :You can add chasew nut with the spices.
