Ginger rasam


Ingredients

1.Tomatto-1(optional)
2.Ginger-1 inch
3.lime
4.tamarind juice
5.mustard seeds
6.jeera seeds
7.toor dal-1/4 cup
8.rasam powder.

Method
1.cook toor dal and tommato and mash it well.
2.crush ginger.
3.take oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,red chilli,jeera ,curry leaves and fry for 2 min.
4.now add the crushed ginger to it.
5.Add rasam powder.
6.next add tamarind juice.
7.when it is mixed well,now add toor dal mix.
8.bring it to a boil.
9.now add coriander leaves.
10.switch of the stove.
11.now add lime juice.
12.do not heat the rasam after lemon juice is added.

  3. You can also make MODI rasam , it's a desi maedicinal stick which you get in naatttu marundhu kadais if you ask. All you have to do is cook like regular rasam after roasting the ingredients for rasam along with this 4 small pieces of modi. This will heat the body and kill body pains. Try out.
