Omlet



Spring onion omlet




Ingredients


Egg


Spring onion


Green chillies


Salt




Mix egg and chopped spring onion,chopped green chilles,salt and beat well.


Pour in a tawa and make omlet.


Muniyandi villas Karandi omlet (kadai omlet)
This karandi omlet is popular in nonveg restaurant in south tamil nadu.karandi is a big spoon or it is a small pan which we use only for doing tempering(thalipu in tamil).




Chopped onion


Chopped green chilles


Chopped curry leaves few


Jeera seeds few


Salt
Pepper powder(optional)

Mix all together and beat well.Pour one TSp of oil in kadai or small pan which we use for temering(thalippu karandi) and heat for few seconds.Now pour the mixture and cook in low flame untill egg is cooked well you can close the pan is u have lid.Don't flip this omlet .Garnish with cilantro leaves.


Now karandi omlet is ready to serve
