Ingredients.
Mutton(goat or lamb) 1 lb with bone
Onion large onion.
Tomato one .
Ginger 1 inch size finely chopped.
Garlic 2 pods.
Ginger garlic paste 1 and half tsp.
Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
Pepper 1 tsp.
Chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp.
Dhaniya powder 3 tsp.
Garam masala powder 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp.
Cloves 1,Cardamom 1,Cinnamn stick 1 inch,Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp and one small bay leaf.
Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash mutton with turmeric powder and keep aside.
- In pressure cooker pour 1 Tsp of oil and add cumin seeds,pepper and fry
- Now add chopped ginger and and chopped garlic and 1Tsp of chopped onion and fry,Add mutton and fry till it turn color now add turmeric powder,Salt and Water close pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles(I cook 5 whistle I prefer mutton to be soft).
- In a pan add oil and add cloves,cardamom,cinnamon,fennel seeds and bay leaf and fry.
- Add chopped onion and fry well till its turns light color.
- Now add gingergarlic paste.
- Add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes cooked now add all powders(chill,dhaniya,garam masala) and cook for 3 min .
- Add cooked mutton with that water,Salt and add cook till masala smell goes and water should be evoporated.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of pepper powder(I use crushed pepper) and cook for another 3 min.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Now your spicy Mutton chops is ready you can serve with briyani or roti,chappathi.
Note:You can take Water in which mutton is boiled and make soups and serve your kids.
Those who have cholestrol I suggest not to use Mutton stock it will be full of fat.
