Kongunadu chicken fry

1.Chicken                 500gm

2.Red chilli                 10
3.Pearl onions            10
4.Ginger garlic paste   2 Tsp
5.Turmeric powder
6.Chilli powder(optional)

Heat some oil in a pan.Add some mustard seeds and let it splutter .Add onion and fry till it becomes golden brown in color.Next add red chillies and fry for 2 min.Add Ginger garlic paste to it .put some turmeric powder and salt and saute them.
Now add the chicken pieces(cut it into small pieces) and saute with the above mixture for 5 min.
Then sprinkle some water and close the pan.
Let the chicken be cooked in a medium heat.Dont add water...remove the lid and saute the chicken in regular intervals.chicken should be cooked in the oil itself.
After the chicken is cooked well,add coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with rice,chappathi..
If u want the fry to be more spicy then add chilli powder.
