Spicy Fish Fry-Nethilli Fry

SPICY FISH FRY
                        Smelt fish Fry


This is simple fish fry can do with Smelt(nethilli) or Sardines(Mathi).
Ingredients

  1. Smelt fish or sardines 1 lb.

  2. Chilli powder 2 Tsp.

  3. Turmeric powder 2 pinch.

  4. Salt to taste.

  5. Rice flour 1 Tbsp

  6. lemon juice 1 Tbsp(optional).

  7. Oil for deep fry

Method:
  •      Cut head part in fish and clean.
  •      Mix chiili powder,turmeric powder,salt,rice flour,lemon juice in a bowl .
  •      Marinate paste with fish and keep for 15 min .
  •     Heat oil in fry pan.
  •     When oil is hot add fish ,deep fry till golden brown.
  •     Keep in paper towel to take excess oil.
            Serve with rasam rice or sambar rice.
