Oats Kanji


Oats are ver good for our health They have a lot of health benefits.Some of them are exciting.

1.Oats are significant sources of dietary fibre.It contain beta-glucans which has proven effective in lowering blood cholestrol.

2.Oats can spread the rise in blood glucose levels for a long time.oat beta-glucan slows the rise in blood glucose levels following meals and delays its decline to pre meal levels.So very good for Diabetic People.

3.Oats reduce persons risk of getting cancer.

4.Oats reduce blood pressure.

5.Oats helps to reduce obesity.

oats play a major role to have a healthy life.So we will try to have it atleast thrice a week.Here is different recipe using oats for indians .

Ingredients

Oats 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Water 1cup
Garlic 3 pods
Onion 2 tsp
Red Chilli
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves

Method

1.Mix water and milk
2.Boil it.
3.Now add oats and keep stirring.
4.Add little salt.
5.Boil the mixture till the oats are cooked.
6.Take a kadai and pour little oil.
7.Put Mustard seed,curry leaves ,redchillies.
8.Now add onions ,garlic.
9.Saute them for 5 min.
10.Mix it with Oats.
11.garnish with coriander leaves.
The taste will be good.you will eat a healthy porridge with good taste also.
