Fish Gravy


1.Salmon Fish -250gm
2.Onion -1
3.Tommatto -1 small
4.Green chilli -2
5 ginger small piece
6.Chilli Powder -1TSP
7.Coriander Powder -2 TSP
8.Turmeric Powder -a pinch
9.Tamarind Pulp
10.Mustard seeds
11.curry leaves
12.Fenugreek seeds -1/4 Tsp


Pour little oil in kadai.When the oil becomes hot,put some mustard seeds.Let it splutters.
After that add red chilli,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves.Fry for some time.Then add onion.saute till it becomes brown in add tomatto and cook it for some time.Then add all the powders.
Saute them till the raw smell goes.
Now add the turmeric pulp and salt.Let it boil for 3 minutes.Then add fish pieces.
cover it with a lid and cook it for another 7 min.
when the gravy boils add green chillies and ginger.
cook it for another 3 min.
Boil till the gravy becomes thick.
Note:Do not over boil the gravy.
If u want the flavour of coconut add 1/2 tumbler coconut milk in the last.simmer it for another 4 min .
A super fish gravy is ready.
Serve it with rice,Fish Fry.
